Social media have become a daily part of young Australians. Photo: Gibot.

Our target users are young Australians aged between 15-25. In particular, we will target those who are interested in food and lifestyle.

Social media have increasingly become a daily part of young Australians.

For example, a global survey by Microsoft found young adults spend 45 per cent of their time online using social media.

Also, according to news.com.au, 53 per cent of surveyees have taken food-photos while dining out, and 39 per cent have posted it online.

Therefore, our feature will be attractive to our users as they are active participants of this cultural phenomenon of food-photo sharing.

We will provide unique case studies and cover the impact of what their everyday social media habit leads to.

Although our project is likely to be published solely on our blog, I think the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Weekend could be a possible publication for our articles.

Finally, we have refined our case study for Recipes section. We will investigate Izy Hossack, a well-known social media chef who shares and sells her own recipes through various social media channels.
